In Mark 5 from
verse 21 to the end, after Jesus crossed over to the other side, He was
asked by Jarius a ruler in the synagogue
to come and heal his daughter who later died but was brought back to life.
When the
messenger broke the news to Jarius that his daughter was dead publicly, Jesus
quickly looked at Jarius and assured him and said, ‘be not afraid, only
believe’. No matter what you are going
through, Jesus is privy to it. What is
the condition that you are going through that is so bad that people around you
are even weeping with you? Jesus is
saying to you, ‘only believe’. His words
are life and powerful.
Fear has torment
and anytime a man begins to live in fear, he is tormented on the inside. The first thing Jesus did was to remove fear
from the life of Jarius. Anytime you are
looking up to God for something, your faith in Him will make Him move in your
situation. It doesn’t matter how long
you have been carrying or going through troubles, Jesus is saying to you, ‘do
not be afraid, only believe’. When Jesus
spoke to Jarius, he stayed glued to Jesus and kept on going. The messenger was wondering what Jesus was
doing with Jarius. Notwithstanding,
Jarius would rather believe Jesus than what the messenger had come to say.
As soon as the
words of life which Jesus spoke entered into the girl, it quickened her and
brought her back to life and rose up. To
confirm she was not dead, food was given to her and she started doing the
activities she could not do before.
Let the word
minister life and salvation to you today!
That i'm toooo deeply rooted in Christ to be easily uprooted by ur little schemes and troubles and trials
That wen i'm in those trying moments I do not cry to God to take dem
away because while you think you will break me and make me weak, I laugh
coz that's wen his grace and strength is multiplied to me.
The more you struggle to take away my love for God,I laugh at you coz
its never about how much I love him.its all about his bountiful love for
me. How I wish you stop struggling to frustrate my every plan, coz
the more you do unknown to you ,you bring me all the more closer to my
glorious destiny, didn't you know that his thoughts and actions towards
me is of good bringing me to an expected end . hahaha.
Weh
petit, stop Reminding me of my past nor,coz that's all you know about me
but chai I pity you ooooo coz I know your past, present and future and
its a very ugly and painful one. Eeeyaaaaa Weh weh weh weh ........don't worry in the second letter I will tell you how to break me,until then
I Don come again with my usual weird titles... Well weird but important.
Today's discuss is simple, and if you disagree with me feel free to voice your comments.
I grew up hearing this statement, let the weak say I am strong, let the poor say I am rich. In fact I heard it as a song and as a recitation, even before I found out it was in the bible it had been sunk into my head.(take note).
Thus for as far back as I can remember whenever I fall sick I would run to my parents and say I am strong, they would then monitor me and take me to the hospital.
Fast forward to when I started working, I woke up one morning and was so weak. Decided to go to the office and ask for a day or two off. And so I marched to my boss' office confidently and said to her, "ma please I would like to take today and tomorrow off," "why?" She asked? 'I'm feeling strong' . she looked at me, smiled knowingly and said, only the sick need rest. Since you are strong. Go back to work.
I kept looking at her as a devil in disguise and I worked under splitting headaches all day, finally closed and by the second day I couldn't get out of bed. I had to call in sick(so my salary would not be deducted for absence)
Shockingly as soon as I called her and in my shaky voice told her I was too ill to come to the office, she chuckled and said to myself, rest, take medications and also take the next day off to revocer properly. I was stunned... Was this not the same woman who refused me permission to get some rest the day before?
I resolved to talk to her candidly once i was fit and back in the office... I had several questions for her.
When i said i was strong(Professing my faith) she refused me leave
when i admitted being sick, i got an extra day off work
Was she trying to kill my faith? but she is supposedly a believer also?
Afternoon my people... I hope you are having a fabulous day? This post is dedicated to the courageous christians being killed by boko haram in the north and those slaughtered by isis and all facing persecution all around the world.
I remember several years ago... precisely in august 2005 on Solid Foundation camp in Ipaja. The theme was AWESOME GOD(if I remember correctly) and I had an encounter that changed my life forever.
A certain pastor had been invited to preach and he titled his message
DANCE OR DIE... TAKE YOUR STAND
that day as he jocularly recited the title in a singsong manner periodically all through the message and we chanted alongside him never did I know that what he was talking about would have long lasting impact for me and even set the course for the rest of my life.
His lesson centered on 3 hebrew children who had come to be known as Shedrach, Meshach and Abednego who refused to dance before or bow to the graven image the king had constructed. They were told in clear terms DANCE OR DIE!
Their choice is still being celebrated today... Same question the christians in the north are facing... Dance or Die... not to talk of the several mass killings of christians by islamic militant group ISIS.
This is a wake up call to christians all over the world... If you were presented with the same option would your faith stand strong in the dace of sure death?
Enough of lip service... Let's dig in our feet and root for christ till the end... come what may...
Many of us are comfortable with our current situations and we think it's not necessary to make our stand known. Christians at the peak of Entertainment, etc...
NEYMAR broke that jinx and made his stand known during one of the most keenly watched matched in football history. Will you take your stand?
I TAKE MY STAND...
I'm 100% for JESUS

Calvary greetings guys and i say happy sunday to you, i know or hope many of you are already heading to church or in church already so would see this after service... however i just wanna share something with you all and i hope it causes us to think deeply.
Nigeria is host to the largest church auditorium in the world
Nigeria is also host to One of the largest Congregation in the world.
Majority of Nigerians attend one church or the other on Sunday
Nigerians majorly are a very religious lot.
Nigeira has the largest number of Penticostal Pastors in the world
Nigeria hosts some of the richest pastors in the world.
Nigerians are London's biggest spenders
Yet
Nigeria is one of the most corrupt countries in the world
Nigeria is becoming home to some really mundane practices
Boko Haram has been having a field day
The Standard of living for most people doesn't seem to be improving
Nigerians are some of the poorest people in the world.
Crime rates are on the rise in Nigeria daily
The Salient Point...
Of what use is our salvation if we can't impact our world?
We go to church religiously every sunday and yet it seems that is all there is to it.
how about if we decided to take a different approach? what is we stopped restricting ourselves to those sunday sunday gatherings in massive cathedrals, and also added some community development initiatives? personally i mean. what if we stopped dusting and bringing out our bibles only on service days and actually begin to show love to our neigbhours everyday? What if we began to reach people not only with the written word of God but with the evidence of obedience to scriptures?
don't get me wrong, i love going to church and fellowshipping with the brethren(i even work in church so i guess i pass on that point) but the salient point is, if we restrict ourselves to fellowshipping with believers, who will show love and minister to that area boy? Remember the area boy you did not reachout to with God's love becomes the potential armed robber or election thug tomorrow.
Let's not just play church, Let's become christians.(Christlike)

This post didn't have a title as at the start of this writing. i woke up with a song dominating my mind...
There is power in the name of jesus, to break evry chain , .... initially, i just sang it then kept quiet,
then another song popped in my head as i worked in the church office,
"the name, the name, of Jesus, is greater and higher than all names, it is not an ordinary name, it's the name that's full of power and grace..."
i began to wonder what was going on... and then i got a call and someone shared an awesome testimony, whe had prayed in the name of Jesus and an amazing miracle took place.
and then it struck me... the name of Jesus is so effective and carries so much power no matter the medium through which it is used. via song, via prayer, via text, via social media etc... "And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father
may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do
it." (John 14:13,14)
and the devil realized this and began to put in place strategies to water down the effect of the name of Jesus. and guess what?? he is succeeding.
hold it!!! i knoww some of you religious folks are about to attack me, calling me a liar and opening bible verses to prove to me that the name of Jesus will always be effective, let me quote some of the verses you will be attempting to use
His name represents all of His finished work on the cross, fulfilling
God's plan of redemption and salvation, victory over sin, death, and
over the devil's entire realm. When the name of Jesus Christ is
invoked, it carries all of the power and distinction God gave to it. God
raised Jesus from the dead, elevated Him to His right hand, and gave
Jesus a name above "every name that is named, not only in this age but
also in that which is to come." (Ephesians 1:21)
Philippians declares, "God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth." (Philippians 2:9, 10)
Hebrews states, regarding Jesus, "when He had by Himself purged our
sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become
so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more
excellent name than they." (Hebrews 1:3, 4)
On the day of
Pentecost, the people were deeply moved after Peter's powerful sermon,
and asked, "What do we do?" Peter answered, "Repent, and let every
one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of
sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." (Acts 2:38)
so you see, i agree with you when you use the name of Jesus to pray like i pointed out in the begining of my atricle it is always effective, but what if the devil has found a way for us to pray without using the name of Jesus while we think we are using it?
THE TREND
of course if he suddenly removed the name of Jesus from our prayers we would notice immediately, so he decided to emplore the famous tactic we use on social media which is short hand. so all of a sudden you see someone type a very long prayer and end it with IJN, amen. how come the only item worthy of abbreviation is in jesus name? (ah ahh, some people think i am just paranoid for nothing.) i ask you to take a look into how xmas has subtly been substituted for christmas. it initially started as a shorthand, whth X being the short form of christ(i still wonder till date how they achieved that understanding, but that's a post for another day,) but now even in pronunciation people now pronounce xmas as a suitable alternative for Christmas, and in many circles now, Christ has been substituted for X.
so you see the danger in allowing yourselves to fall into the trap of reducing the name of Jesus to mere shorthand? the power lies in the name!!! the bible says clearly, At the mention of the name of Jesus... not at the mention of the abbreviation of the name of Jesus...
the amazing part is the school of thought that advocates the use of shorthand as a means of conserving space, and i wonder how do you conserve space by removing the name that malkes the prayer you are praying effective?
as i write this post another song flashed in my spirit(that name Jesus, that name Jesus carry weight ooo by BNG). in fact, that'll be the title of this post. "THAT NAME JESUS"
well that's all i have to say, so when next you want to abbreviate the name of Jesus, i hope you will think twice...
Minister Effizey Signing out
P.S.As the year draws to a close and everyone is balancing accounts, so also
the kingdom of hell is balancing. i pray for you today, the enemy will
not use you, your family or your loved ones to balance accounts this
year in Jesus name... Amen
yesso... after the amazing question i posted last week, i was opportuned to preach in a church that same thursday evening and i asked them the same question, WHO ARE YOU? well thankfully at the end of the message God helped us to be able to identify who we were and it was an awesome time in God's presence,
well, in this post i will be answering the question as it pertains to me, and i hope many of you have also gotten answers to that question(though una no gree comment so i go know ooo) but i'll go ahead...
God revealed himself severally in the past as I AM...(THAT I AM, THE BREAD OF LIFE, THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, ISAAC AND JACOB, THE LORD, THE TRUE VINE... ETC) and thus we have the ready made format for introduction. so when God noticed that an identity crisis was plaguing his body(the church) he decided to remind us and this he did when he first of all said... "have i not told you? ye are gods!) let's not forget that was a reminder oooo, he had told us before.
a god! ahhh no way some of you would say, well let me remind you how man came to be... you were made in God's image(to look like him) and likeness(to function like him) so that when you walked into a place, people would see God. in other words God cloned you from himself so you could represent him here on earth.
(still not sure who you are?)
let me tell you who i am
I AM A CHOSEN GENERATION, A ROYAL PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PECULIAR PERSON... Now if you doubt the veracity of my claim as told me by God in 1pet2:9, i'm sure God was also serious in Rev 1:6, and in Rev5:10 again where he affirmed that i have been made a priest unto God and a king here on earth.
this takes me on a journey back through history, A king is the ruler of a kingdom, however when the kingdom runs into trouble, the king is usually stumped and he sends for the priest, the only person in the kingdom who can confer with the gods and profer a solution. so the chain of authority wss
king-priest-god!
however just as God is three in one, i'm also three in one, i'm a king, a priest and a god!!! so everything responds to me. i carry myself with that knowledge, and it has changed the way i look at situations around me.
now every small god gets his divinity from a soucre, fourtunately for me, i get mine directly from whom i was cloned from, the Almighty God, the Only ruler of the Heavens and the Earth. so he is my boss, my Father. so i dispense my duties as a priest to him,(offerring sacrifices, prayers and oblation to him) and then i rule as a king here on earth.(having dominion, rulership ans authority)
this simply means, now that i know who i am in christ here on earth, when challenges that confront kings confront me, i don't begin to run helter skelter like others, i simply settle it the way a priest would do. however this means something. my priesthood must be intact if i'm to be a successful king.
A lot of christians want to rush into becoming kings, forgetting to settle their priesthood. and thus run into trouble. the bible says i am a royal priesthood. the question is which comes first, royality or priesthood. let me use another analogy, i am a blackman. means i am first a man before i am black. the black in fromt simple qualifies the man, so the royality simply qualifies my priesthood. in other words,
my proximity to divinity will determine my royality amongst humanity.
i leave you with this... i know who i am... a king-priest, a god..... WHO ARE YOU????
hello my people... i don miss una small oooo, been AWOL(away without official leave) i hope while i was away you kept yourselves busy by going through some of my other interesting posts? well i was in a discussion with a very good friend, younger sis, padi, inspirer, pst, colleague of mine, when the inspiration for this post hit me, (Pst Debby Adeshina i sight you,) truly iron sharpeneth iron.
well during the past week i journeyed across several cities on my way to the ancient city(Oba A Tokpe EEE) for the wedding of a friend where yours sincerely was the best man... (yes ooooh imagine me, best man... mhen the experience na something else... but that's a story for another day)
back to my story, you all know i'm a fan of great writers and some of my favourite writers are the best that have ever lived e.g
Sydney Sheldon
John Grisham
Jackie Collins
Richard North Patterson
James Patterson
Steven King, who also writes as Richard Bachman
Fredrick forsyth
Robert Ludlum
Wilbur Smith
of course, JK Rowlings
J.R.R Tolkien
and several other Authors of Newyorktimes bestseller novels,
you see that i have read books written by the very best? the creme de la creme of authors...
when these writers write they captivate you in such a way that their writing has a profound influence on you and minutes after the close of their books you could be left gasping for breath cos of the breathtaking way the book ended.
however i stumbled upon the greatest writer ever.... he's the greatest not just because his book is the most sold book in human history,(over 5billion copies sold) or because his book is captivating and practically moulds you into a new person as you read, or because he tells the most amazing stories, but because he takes part in writing the story of our lives, filling it with so much suspense, intrigue, twists and turns, and then because he is an expert at spinning out the most beautiful of endings out of seemingly hopeless situations.
of course i'm talking about Jesus Christ, the one who can turn your Mess into a Message, who can trade your Ashes for Beauty, Who can be your Refuge in the time of trouble and who is the Author and Finisher of our faith,
is the story of your life getting sour? why not hand over the script to the greatest writer and let him work his wonders, watch him as he rewrites your story and takes you from zero to hero...
and by the way if you haven't got a copy of his best selling book of all time, "The Bible",
i would be giving out 20 free copies, just holla at me by geting my details from the contact Minister effizey section of this blog.
God bless you
have a fulfilling week.
stay tuned for a very interesting episode of "The Wedding"
hello folks, i'm sure you need no reminder that it's friday but all the same i'll scream it out TGIF... lolz, please remember to always leave a comment after reading, you can also drop a testimony on the testimony section of my Blog. God bless you and as you read, may your lives be transformed.
It is an open secret that when God is set to bless a man he
usually positions him at a spot where he can be divinely located. A lot of
people have remained in poverty and penury for so long because they have
stepped out of their point of divine location. A classic example is that of Gehazi, Gehazi
could easily have been the greatest prophet that ever lived.
Look at it this way, Elijah was a great prophet and is still
being spoken about till date, we
remember vividly when there was faminie in the land and God sent him to a
brook, and there ravens fed him, (when you are in your place of divine location
you cannot go hungry.) In 2kings 2:9
when he was to be taken up to heaven, Elisha his servant ran after him and
asked for double portion of his anointing, Elisha did not stop pursuing his
master, despite various persuasions to stop, until he got to his point of
Divine location. Elisha then became one of the greatest prophets that ever lived
with his bones raising the dead, Gehazi his servant was next to become a great
prophet, but we see in 2kings 5:20 how he ran off after Naaman, unlike his
master Elisha, thereby leaving his place of Divine location, and the
consequence washe became a leper. His destiny
got truncated because he left his place of Divine location.
Abraham couldn’t get blessed as long as he remained in his
home town. God had to tell him. “get thee out of thy country and from thy
kindred and from thy father’s house unto a land that i would shew thee and I
would make of thee a great nation, and I would bless thee and make thy name
great and thou shalt be blessed.”(Gen 12:1-2.)
His getting blessed was tied to him getting out of his comfort zone and getting
into his point of divine location. Abraham still made a slight error by taking
his cousin with him and sooner than later they began to have issues, so they
eventually had to separate, Lot took the land that was seemingly greener and
was to fare better, but because Abraham was at his point of divine location he
flourished and was richer and better than Lot who eventually lost everything he
had.
Acts 1:4-8 Jesus told his disciples to tarry in Jerusalem, and
they would receive the Holy Ghost. They needed to stay in their place of divine
location to get allocated with their portion of destiny. They obeyed and stayed
put and had an encounter with the Holy Ghost that took them from zero to
becoming heroes. Just a few weeks earlier we saw peter vehemently deny that he
knew Jesus but after that divine encounter on the day of Pentecost, Peter turned
into a fearless apostle who kept preaching Jesus even to the point of death.
People of God, it’s your season of Divine Location, and i
emplore you to take care to listen to all divine instructions seriously
this season, you don’t want to be missing when it’s your time to be located, be
prayerful and don’t leave your point of Divine location.. and if you're in the wrond place, Begin to ask God to lead you to your point of divine location. because
Has the church offended God?
first of all, The Church is not a building or a physical structure... the church is the body of christ here on earth, this is made up of all who have accepted christ as their personal lord and saviour.
My answer is a big YES
many would disagree with me; maybe they are waiting for God to show up at their door posts with a placard saying I AM OFFENDED
The body of Christ needs to wake up. many Pastors today are more concerned with building numbers instead of building members. they forget that a trailer filled with grass(population) will burn faster than the bag filled with gold(content)
inspite of the numerous churches everywhere the bible says the harvest is plenty but the labourers are few.
We are building multi million cathedrals and forgetting to raise men that will defend it.
let me prove it with a few easily verifiable facts for the 'doubting thomases'
*Do you know that the largest church building in Instanbul(Former Constantinople) in Turkey after it was built was taken over by the muslims before it became a museum.
* In the UK many churches are being bought over by muslims
When we talk of evangelism the muslims' are fast converting people and we Christians are busy exchanging people. We preach to people in one church to come to our own church. Where is the power that brings salvation to them that believe (Rom 1:16b)?
The biggest sin I've seen we Christians commit in this generation is use Gods name in vain
Let me tel u how using easy logic
Premise 1: 'Thou shall not take the name of thy Lord in vain'
Premise 2: 'Unless the Lord builds the house, they that labour do it in vain'
Conclusion: It means vain could also be futility, no result
We Christians have become so religious, our amen lack results Even when we pray aright because we have misplaced the potency of the spoken word.
In the north now, almost every allahhu akbar takes at least 20lives
What happened to the short prayer that brought fire from heaven in the midst of baal priests?
We need to repent as a church and begin to take God at his word....
He said to us 'Ye shall lay your hands on the sick and they shall recover...' What are we waiting for? Why are there still sick amongst us?
We wonder why Nigeria is as it is today, while lots of prayers are being offered about boko haram and it seems nothing is happening?
We have lost the power behind the word somewhere in the midst of motivational messages,
the church needs to repent... we need to go back to our first love if we need more answered prayers like Elijah of old got instant answers to prayers or like the apostles in the early church.
We caused the slacking so first we need to ask for repentance for 'seemingly' making the gates of hell prevail in our time
Also signs, wonders, back people who preach, when last did you tell anyone about Jesus? Some of us have best friends, colleagues, neigbhours, etc who are unbelievers and we don't share the good news with them,
Let us repent of being selfish and ashamed of the gospel
Now the solution to Nigeria hit me as i prayed this morning
''If my people will turn from their ways and repent, I will forgive their sins and heal their land''
If the church(God's people) repents, Nigeria(our land) MUST be healed. God is not a man to lie
Let us pray

And
the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I
have rejected him from reigning over Israel?...” (1 Samuel 16: 1).
God
queried Samuel's continued mourning for Saul. God already rejected Saul
from being King of Israel. So Samuel was mourning over a rejection that
happened in the past; he was mourning because of the past; he was
encumbered with thoughts of the past.
Friend, God says, forget
the past. Stop feeling bad because of things that went wrong in the
past; stop mourning on account of the gossips and wickedness that men
hurled at you in the past; stop feeling bad for the missed opportunities
of the past; forget the disappointments and humiliation you suffered in
the past; forget the bad experiences that happened in your past; stop
living in the fear and pain of the past.
Samuel's mourning for
Saul didn’t make God to reconsider Saul; he mourned for the past in
vain. If mourning for the past won't reverse the past or create a better
future, then stop mourning. If reminding yourself of past
disappointments and heartbreaks will not move you forward, then forget
them before they break you further.
Your constant connection to
the past will rob you of the opportunity to connect to a better future.
If you keep mourning on account of what went wrong, you may not notice
that God has begun to make some things right. If you keep focusing on
the past, you won't gain a good focus of the future.
Whatever you
have experienced in the past is not as important as the future that God
wants to make happen for you. Do yourself a favour: forget the past!
Isaiah 43 vs. 18 (GWT) sums it up this way: “Forget what happened in the past, and do not dwell on events from long ago.”
Pray With Me: Lord, I choose to forget the past; my past will not rule my future, in Jesus’ name!
They all shouted: "you fools, you idiot, that will never work what is
even your problem don’t you know plywood weighs more than air?"
To which Orville and Wilbur Wright responded "no it doesn’t we’ll
prove it to you." They went ahead to build the first ever air plane.
THEY WERE DREAMERS.
"You can never be a great artiste" everyone
told him. "you only have one ear all great artistes must have two ears"
to which Vincent Van Gogh responded “I can’t even hear you” HE
WAS A DREAMER.
"Are you insane what are you talking about? it can never be possible distributing electricity, you’ll get electrocuted," to which Thomas Edison responded no I won’t I’ll prove it to you he became the first man to distribute electrical light bulb in America, When he died the American Government considered turning off all electrical current in the country for a minute or two as a tribute to him. Thomas Edison WAS A DREAMER.
In 1928 Sir Alexander Fleming discovered Penicillin which
saved Thousands of lives in London and beyond and even today
here we are talking about him because HE WAS A DREAMER.
We will drown you boy if you continue, they said constantly there is
no place for blacks here better quit now or get drowned. To which
he responded “You can only succeed in drowning me if i quit”
Carl Brasher went ahead to be the first African American to
become a U.S Navy Master Diver he also was the first amputee
diver to be re-certified as a U.S Navy Diver. Carl Brasher WAS A
DREAMER.
Benjamin Franklin people told him you can’t fly a kite in a rain storm but he replied yes you can if you have an electric kite HE WAS A DREAMER.
He told his brothers "I saw in my dream you all bowing down to worship me," "hey will you shut up your mouth that can
never be possible, in-fact let us kill him and see what will become
of his dreams" you know the story, Joseph later became the
saviour of them all HE WAS A DREAMER.
Dare to dream, dream big, dream the most impossible things
people think can’t be possible, work at it, give it all you’ve got,
put away negative words and discouragement far from you and
see those dreams become reality. And if anyone, anybody or
anything tells you, you can’t do it or make it then you look
straight into their eyes with all boldness and confidence and you
say YES I CAN and in-fact i'm doing it right now, because that
might be the only thing you will be remembered for in this life.
Lastly let us look at one more man a great Dreamer He told
the people, the rain is coming heavily and the whole world will be
flooded everything is going to be wiped out both humans and
animals both your houses and your belonging everything the rain
will wipe away but don’t worry I will build an ark a very big one
where we all can hide and be preserved when the rain begins but
they replied him with the most common human word IT IS
IMPOSSIBLE, it can never happen stop dreaming of impossible
things the world can’t come to an end we will keep on enjoying
ourselves, as if they were the once that created the world and
themselves in the first place; those who did not come into the ark
were forever destroyed, well most of you know how the story
ended. That man WAS A DREAMER.
Now here I am telling you that you should come into that
same ark which represent CHRIST JESUS for there is a great and
terrible destruction coming to all those who will be left outside
the ark. Do not linger outside my friends, come into the ark
(JESUS) today before it is too late. Forsake everything out there
for they will all perish with the world. Do not ignore this message
as the people in the days of Noah did, JESUS the everlasting ark
is waiting for you, Please do not linger, Christ is coming soon come into the ark and he will keep you only if you come. I
might not be an inventor or a great scientist but one DREAM I
have and that which I am telling you is to come into that ark now and be saved.
what do you dream about? if you have never dreamed before the time to begin to dream is now!!!
there is a puzzle only you can solve, all you gotta do is dream!
MY NAME IS JESUGBAMILA JESUTOFUNMI AND I AM A DREAMER.

And I must say, this is an experience I don't want to ever recover from. The conference featured various ministers like, Pst Chidi, Pst Edward Addison(UK) Pst Femi Adun(UK) Pst Chingtok Ishaku(Zaria) PST Kingsley Okonkwo(Lagos) Rev Funlola Craig(Lagos) Dr Gbenga, Rev Victor Adeyemi and a host of others...
As I packed my bag on Tuesday to head to camp, little did i know i was going to be going in for an encounter like never before, truth be told i have a thing for camps. many times it's an opportunity to be 'less busy' and just concentrate on God but this year i was trusting God for a personal encounter.
the theme of camp meeting was THE EMERGENCE and i keyed into it form the start, opening session was beautiful as the camp meeting started with a BANG and it was sustained all through the meeting.
the first thing i noticed was the synergy amongst all the speakers, they all had their mannerisms and strengths and ways and methods of communication, but in essence they were all saying the same thing... God was speaking through different people but one voice. it was obvious God meant business this year.

REV's FROM THE EMERGENCE...
* God will not give you territories you have not prayed for.- Pst chidi,
in other words, you wanna go round the nations? start praying for the nations! the reason some people have never left their local government area in their lives is because they have not developed a burden for praying for other areas. when you pray for a place, the place becomes opened up to you.
*The Gap between the Pulpit and the congregation wii be breached in this season- Minister Olumide,
for a while now we are used to seeing pastors perform miracles and pray for hours, now God is going to be pouring out his spirit upon the 'everyday' believer and they will do exploits, a burden to pray will envelope everyone and they will pray like never before
*where is that generation that will make the devil afraid when they step out? -PG
*God wants to raise for himself an army... enough is enough of being civilians-PG
*Lonliness is not lack of Affection it is lack of Direction -Pst kingsley Okonkwo,
true words sir... they need no explanation, if you don't understand, ask for direction
*love is a commitment to caring for someone else's needs all the days of your life, whether you like it or not, whether they deserve it or not- Pst Kingsley Okonkwo,
now that's what i'm talking about
*Love is not a well you fall into, it's a fruit of the spirit, it's a conscious choice...
*Sometimes you have got yto admit you are not that smart-Pst kingsley Okonkwo,
how can you be in a car race with michael Schumacher sitting by your side and you're the one holding the wheel? how can you be on the path to destiny and God is by your side and you're the one holding the wheel?if you have any common sense you will drop the wheel for him. you gotta know when to let Go...
*there are many things you can do to get money, but it's not everything you can do to be fulfilled...
*God gives instructions why don't you just follow instead of wondering how he'll do his part- Rev funlola Craig
for instance God said: "you will lay your hands on the sick and they will recover" so why do you keep trying to analyze how the healing will take place, or what will happen if you lay hands and they don't recover? why are you poknosing into God's business? simply do your part!
i will never forget what the spirit of the lord said.... "you are a generation of ex...ex fornicators, ex adulterers, ex robbers, ex thieves, ex clubbers, ex smokers... and God is solely interested in using the exes..." God is committed to turning your mess into a message... forget the past, people have seen enough of you in the past, it's time for God to emerge from you...
Pst Edward Addison is a father indeed as he spoke consizely and prophetically... it was just something else, his prophetics were so on point even the decimal mark would get jealous.
you must submerge to emerge- Pst Femi Adun
the final night was just a wow experience, it was on that evening that i got a go ahead in my spirit to minister at the concert and i spoke to Minister David(God bless him, he's so in tune with the spirit) and even as i held the mike i knew this was a different one, it was poetry with a difference, poetry that drove out depression. someone(one of my Oga at the tops) walked to me much later and said you also do spoken words?
but that was just the begining, any camper would flow when i mention the term 'Worshippers collective' i saw an infusion of grace on several ministers life as they led the 'concert turned revival' in worship, i have sseen the holy ghost come down in various forms, but i saw a new dimension, as he came down in form of laughter... and before you know it the whole auditorium was filled with laughter, someone turned to ask his neigbhour why are you laughing and found himself laughing, and in the midst of the laughter i began to hear clearly, God was dealing with various issues that had hiterto proved stubborn, depression fled, destinies were restored, healings took place and basically God showed forth...
i kept one of the most striking moments for me on camp for the last to challenge someone reading this...
statistics show that about 80percent of the muslim world are receptive to the gospel right now, we need to go for the harvest, when a fruit is ripe and is not plucked, it rots and becomes a terror, -Pst Rotimi
we need to go all out and harvest before more fruits become terror... remember just go and preach, don't worry about how they'll be converted, do your part and leave God to do his part...
Ladies and Gentlemen, i have emerged... ande better still God has emerged through me... watch out for me... mo'n meye bo lapo(i am coming in new dimentions)

Pardon my musings... In nigerian weddngs it's common to hear the same monotonous vows recited over and over again and everyone can practically anticipate the next words out of the preacher's mouth. in the
penticostal setting it goes something like... "i .... take thee..... as my lovely wedded wife, to love and to cherish, to have and to hold, from this day forward, in sickness and in health, for richer for poorer, till death do us part, according to God's holy ordinance."
catholic setting it goes like..."I, ___, take you, ___, to be my husband/wife. I promise to be true to
you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love and
honor you all the days of my life."
and i must say the vows are lovely, however as I prepared the marriage register last weekend in the church conference room, I heard the couple reciting their vows and I imagined what it would be like, how creative it would be, how deep and touching with meaning the words would be if I wrote my own vows myself,
But since we belong to a penticostal dispensation where such is not really the order of the day, i decided to write it as a letter instead and share it with you...
Ok, here we go...
I promise to give you the best of myself and to ask of you no more than you can give.
I promise to respect you as your own person and to realize that your interests, desires
and needs are no less important than my own.
I promise to share with you my time and my attention and to bring joy, strength and imagination
to our relationship.
I promise to keep myself open to you, to let you see through the window of my world into my innermost fears and feelings, secrets and dreams.
I promise to grow along with you, to be willing to face changes in order to keep our relationship alive and exciting.
I promise to love you in good times and bad, with all I have to give and all I feel inside in the only way I know how, completely and forever
THEN AT THE POINT OF EXCHANGING RINGS...
MY OH MY... don't i just feel like getting married already..... (Mental note to self, i gatz explore the possibility of reciting this on my wedding day oooo)
oya my people una don read am... wetin una think ooooo
